Bulk Optimization
Bulk Optimization
Instead of opening products, collections, blog posts, or pages one at a time, Bulk Optimization lets you select many items at once and run AI optimization across all of them together — from the Audit page.
How to Run a Bulk Job
Go to the Audit page.
Choose the resource type you want to optimize — Products, Collections, Blog Posts, or Pages.
Select the items you want to include, using the checkboxes (or "select all" to grab everything in the list).
Click "Optimize selected."
The app shows how many AI credits this batch will use before you confirm — review the count, then confirm to start.
Once started, the job runs in the background — you don't need to keep the page open and watching it. You can navigate elsewhere in the app and come back later to check progress.
Nothing Goes Live Immediately
This is the most important thing to understand about bulk optimization: every result is saved as a draft first. Nothing is written to your live storefront the moment it's generated. You get a chance to review the AI's work — titles, descriptions, meta tags, FAQs, alt text — before any of it becomes visible to customers.
Reviewing Results
Once a job finishes, open it from the Bulk jobs panel. For each item, you can see:
The original content, side by side with the AI-optimized version.
A Publish button, to push just that one item live.
A Revert option, per field or for the whole item, if you don't like a particular result — this restores the original content in the draft, without needing to touch Shopify at all.
Publishing
You have two ways to make results live:
Publish one item at a time — useful if you want to check each result individually before it goes out.
Publish all — pushes every remaining draft in the job live in one action, for when you've reviewed the batch (or trust it) and want to move faster.
Only items still marked as drafts are affected by "Publish all" — anything already published or already reverted is left alone.
Credits
Bulk optimization uses the same AI credit pool as everything else in the app. The cost is calculated per item before the job starts, so you'll always know the total cost upfront rather than being surprised partway through a large batch.
Checking on a Running or Past Job
The Bulk jobs panel keeps a history of your recent jobs, showing status (in progress / completed), how many items succeeded or failed, and lets you jump back into review/publish for any job — even ones from earlier sessions.
