Reviewing & Publishing Bulk Drafts

Reviewing & Publishing Bulk Drafts

After running a Bulk Optimization job, every item sits as a draft until you decide to publish it. This article covers the review screen in more detail.

Draft Status

Each item in a bulk job carries one of these statuses:

  • Draft — generated, but not yet live on your store.

  • Published — live on your storefront.

  • Reverted — you chose to discard the AI's changes; the item stays as it was originally.

Comparing Original vs. Optimized

For each item, the review screen shows the original and AI-optimized versions of:

  • Title

  • Description/content

  • Meta title & meta description

  • FAQs

  • Alt text (for images, where applicable)

  • URL handle

This side-by-side view is there so you never publish something blind — you can see exactly what will change before it does.

Reverting a Single Field

If everything about an item looks good except, say, the meta description, you can revert just that one field back to its original value without discarding the rest of the AI's work on that item.

Reverting a Whole Item

If you don't like the result overall, revert the entire item — this restores every field to its original value and marks the item as Reverted, leaving your live store completely untouched.

Publishing

  • Publish on an individual item pushes just that item's current draft values to your store.

  • Publish all pushes every remaining draft in the job at once — items already published or reverted are skipped automatically.

Once Published

A published item can no longer be reverted from this screen — at that point, it's live content like any other, so further changes should be made from that item's own SEO editor page (Products/Collections/Blog Posts/Pages) rather than from the bulk job history.
