Supported Shopify Plans
Learn which Shopify plans are supported by SS Upsell & Cross Sell and discover which features are available on each plan.
Overview
SS Upsell & Cross Sell is designed to work with most Shopify stores, allowing merchants to increase their Average Order Value (AOV) using upsell and cross-sell campaigns.
Most features are available on all Shopify plans, while some advanced features, such as Checkout Upsells, require Shopify Plus due to Shopify platform limitations.

Features Available on All Plans
The following features are available for all supported Shopify plans:

Shopify Plus Exclusive Features
Some Shopify features are only available on the Shopify Plus plan because Shopify restricts access to Checkout Extensions.
These features include:
• Checkout Upsells
• Checkout UI Extensions
• Advanced Checkout Customization
If you're using Shopify Basic, Grow, or Advanced, you can still use Product Page, Cart, Cart Drawer, and other storefront upsell placements without any limitations.

How to Check Your Shopify Plan
If you're unsure which Shopify plan you're currently using:
Log in to your Shopify Admin.
Click Settings.
Select Plan.
Your current Shopify subscription plan will be displayed.

Can I Upgrade My Plan Later?
Yes.
You can upgrade your Shopify plan at any time through your Shopify Admin.
If you upgrade to Shopify Plus, additional features such as Checkout Upsells will become available automatically after setup.
Best Practices
• Use Product Page Upsells to increase product discovery.
• Enable Cart Drawer Upsells for a seamless shopping experience.
• Create Frequently Bought Together offers for complementary products.
• If you're on Shopify Plus, take advantage of Checkout Upsells to maximize conversions.

Does the app work on Shopify Basic?
Yes. SS Upsell & Cross Sell fully supports Shopify Basic.
Does the app work on Shopify Grow?
Yes. All standard storefront features are available on Shopify Grow.
Does the app work on Shopify Advanced?
Yes. Shopify Advanced merchants have access to all standard upsell features.
Do I need Shopify Plus to use this app?
No.
Most features work on all Shopify plans.
Shopify Plus is only required for checkout-related features that rely on Shopify Checkout Extensions.
Will more features become available in the future?
Yes.
As Shopify introduces new APIs and platform capabilities, SS Upsell & Cross Sell will continue to expand its feature set and support additional functionality where possible.
